Teresa is a 2004 graduate of the first medical massage class at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. During the 20 month program, Teresa worked with college athletes, marathon runners, nursing home patients, and cancer patients. She also spent her clinical semester working at Hartford Hospital in various departments, including: physical therapy, orthopedics, cardiac and palliative care. Upon graduation, Teresa entered an orthopedic certification program while working in a rehabilitation facility & in chiropractic. Eventually, Teresa added massage therapy instructor to her resume. She taught various massage therapy courses, including deep tissue for orthopedic conditions and national exam review. Teresa was voted most inspirational instructor each year by her students. She believes continuing education is very important and continues to study modalities such as: Myofascial Release, Lymph Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy and Trigger Point Therapy. Teresa believes healing is a partnership and encompasses mind, body and soul. Each session will include a variety of modalities depending on findings and constant assessment, and is an important investment in your health.
